Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was from Minsk (the capital city of Belarus) She was the son of Sergey. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father who plays hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. Aryna Sabalenka has twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was crowned Grand Slam in the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is another area where she shines. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. With her, the Belgian tennis superstar she was a WTA 1000s winner in Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Only four women's pairs have achieved this achievement. On 23 August 2021 she climbed to the second spot in the singles world ranking her top ranking again in January 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself up to first place in February of the same year, following the win in Melbourne being the first tennis player from Belarus to achieve success in this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) played her as a coach for the duration of the 2019 season and from 2018 to the close of the season. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from August through September 2020. She is being trained by her nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Her top idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
